Ladies Kick Up Their Heels (3 inch!) for Charity – and 00 Cash! A unique Aspect of the Las Vegas Marathon Weekend of Activities While hundreds of women were getting ready to run the Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, others were asked to “Sacrifice your sole for charity” Ladies kicked up their heels in three inch stilettos as part of the Las Vegas Marathon week-end of activities. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Stiletto Dash was presented by The Palazzo Las Vegas. The “Stiletto Dash” was designed to raise money for Opportunity Village, a not-for-profit organization serving people with intellectual disabilities, and Operation Smile, a nonprofit that treats facial deformities such as cleft lips and palates. The rules for this one were not the usual ones. How many races have rules that include Must wear high heels to compete (minimum 3 inches height) No wedges Stilettos may not be taped, tied or adhered to foot Heels must be worn the entire race As always- please drink and dash responsibly Brooke Burke hosted the 50 yard race which was run on a beautiful red carpet rolled out for the dashers in a special section of the Palazzo Casino on Saturday December 3. Participants paid a 0 registration fee to enter. The top three winners received 00, 0, and 0 respectively and two 50-minute service packages at Canyon Ranch SpaClub.
